Forget Me Not is more than a painting—it’s a quiet testimony. I created it recently, but it reflects something much deeper: a tender season from the early days of motherhood, when I often felt like I was just pretending to know what I was doing. I named the little lamb in His arms Lilly, after my daughter—because during those overwhelming days, I read the verse “Consider the lilies of the field…” and felt God whisper, You don’t have to worry so much. I’ve got you.
The painting also holds symbolism from Christ’s parable of the lost sheep. I’ve been both—the one who is safe and steady, and the one who wanders. Again and again, I’ve felt the Savior scoop me up in spirit, drawing me back from the edge with gentleness and grace.
I painted Forget Me Not to bring that same peace into my own home. Now, I offer it to yours—with the prayer that it brings a visual reminder that He sees you. He knows you. And He never forgets His own.
